Alpine Engineered Products, Inc. (Pompano Beach, Fla.) and Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. (Pleasanton, Ca.) have announced a marketing and distribution agreement. Alpine, a leading supplier of truss design software, connector plates, and machinery for the truss industry will be specifying Simpson's products in its TrusCalc™, VIEW™ and other related software and distributing Simpson products through its various locations. The hanger software, within Alpine's truss design and analysis software is the most powerful in the industry.
Simpson (a publicly traded company) is the worldwide leader in the manufacturer of hangers and construction hardware to the building and Do-It-Yourself markets. This agreement enables two of the large global leaders in their respective industries to focus on their strengths.
Using the strengths of each company will enhance the ability of both to provide greater value to their mutual customers.
