Engineer Training Never Stops
Education is a never-ending process with professionals, who want to stay current with the latest in products and technology. That is why Simpson invests heavily in training sessions and workshops, many of which are designed to meet the needs of structural engineers, architects and building officials. These workshops are held at all branches, and many satellite facilities, and feature presentations by Simpson engineers as well as sales and other training staff. The success of these seminars is proven as registrations fill quickly to capacity. Many attendees will return every year or two for updates on the latest products or newest information on building practices in areas of high wind or earthquakes. The opportunity to tour branch manufacturing plants is an added inducement to attend for many.
This report on Simpson's engineering resources is only part of the whole story. Similar reviews of other Simpson departments show an equal commitment to serving our customers. We look forward to sharing those reviews in coming years.
